This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use the MATIC APP ("the App"), designed to help farmers, FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations), traders, and machine providers with post-harvest practices, machine rentals and trading.

Location Data: To offer services like weather updates, calculate distances between farmers and machine providers, and display relevant location-based information, we may collect your device's location information with your consent.
Camera/Gallery Access: We collect photos that you upload (such as profile pictures, machine images, etc.) to enhance your profile and service offerings. These images are stored and visible within the App as part of your profile or listing.
Usage Data: This includes information about your interactions with the App, such as the features you use, the actions you take (e.g., requesting a machine, uploading availability), and technical data such as your device’s IP address, operating system, and App version.
Notification Access: We send notifications through the App for various purposes, including account verification (e.g., OTP), procurement updates, machine requests, quality report acknowledgments, and more. We collect your consent to send these notifications.
Feedback Information: As part of the procurement process, we may collect feedback from both sellers and buyers regarding the payment status, but no financial transactions are processed within the App itself.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used to:
Provide and Improve the Service: To process machine rental requests, enhance value-added services for farmers, FPOs, traders, and machine providers, and ensure smooth functionality of the platform.
Profile Building: Your profile information (name, contact details, images, and feedback) helps build a comprehensive user profile that will be visible within the App to other stakeholders.
Location-Based Services: To calculate distances between farmers and machine providers, provide weather updates, and offer location-specific functionalities.
Communication: We use your contact details to send notifications about machine availability, procurement requests, and status updates, such as accept/reject of machine requests or acknowledgment of quality reports.
Feedback and Quality Tracking: We collect feedback from buyers and sellers on the status of payments (acknowledging whether the payment was made) and maintain records of quality reports for transparency and tracking purposes.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information in the following ways:
Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App, including hosting services, analytics, and customer support services. These service providers are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information.

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child, we will take immediate steps to delete such information.
